Meet the Team

Senior Team
Our approach is to combine the deep E-Commerce knowledge and experience of the Rex Brown team, led by CEO Ash, with experienced corporate finance expertise, led by Neil Meredith. We will bring additional people to businesses we invest in as appropriate and in agreement with the other shareholders and management team. Ash Kandhari

Ash has over 20 years experience in the consumer goods sector and has spent the past 12 years working with global brands and marketplaces to help accelerate their growth online. From 2012-16 he helped build Groupon’s newly formed goods business to over $1bn GMV. Subsequently, as Rex Brown’s CEO he has been responsible for repositioning the business as an integrated E-commerce solutions business, servicing numerous high profile brands and clients such as Unilever, L’Oreal, GSK, Mattel, Coca Cola and Mars. More recently Ash has been leading the groups activities in social commerce with partners such a TikTok.

Neil Meredith

Neil has spent the past 28 years as a corporate finance adviser, working with Entrepreneurial business owners to sell their business or raise growth capital. He spent most of his career at KPMG where he was a partner in the Midlands and more recently he ran the EY corporate finance team in Birmingham. In addition he has experience as debt funder and Private Equity investor. Over his career he has been involved in approximately 100 transactions working on a number of consumer and retail deals (examples being raising equity funding for Eveden, a branded lingerie business and for Small Luxury Hotels and the sale of 99p Stores to Poundland) as well as working with high profile entrepreneurs such as Peter Jones from the Dragons Den. Since leaving the ‘Big 4’ Neil has been working with Rex Brown as a Board Adviser.
